Your new impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) Service in Hampshire…is go!

1st March 2019

Hampshire County Council working with North East Hampshire & Farnham CCG, North Hampshire CCG, South East Hampshire CCG, West Hampshire CCG and Fareham & Gosport CCG, has awarded a contract to Core Assets Children’s Services to provide an impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) Service in Hampshire, to be known as Hampshire SENDIASS.

In response to feedback from families, this service now provides a single point of contact for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disability and their parents and carers.

Andrew Freeman, Head of Service at Core Assets, commented: “We have over 24 years of experience in supporting children, young people and their families with Special Educational Needs and Disability and we are thrilled to be delivering this new service across Hampshire. The service is now live and we look forward to supporting parents, carers and young people from across the county.”
