We focus on improving the lives of children, young people and their families by delivering services which meet identified needs and demonstrate impact. We are constantly striving to design, deliver and evolve services which de-escalate need, evidence sustainable outcomes and create permanency for children.
Through partnerships with commissioners, funding bodies and academic institutions, we actively seek new and challenging ways to stretch and challenge current thinking, flex existing models of practice and adapt the ways we work together. We work with our commissioners and partners to design support programmes that centre on the needs of the child, young person and family whilst pooling resources, creative thinking and partnerships to greatest effect.
Through collaborations and innovative financing initiatives such as Payment by Results mechanisms, we can help the sector find new ways to address our most challenging social problems; supporting our partners to ‘do more with less’ in a challenging economic and political climate.
Polaris Community is aligned with the UK Government and UNFCCC by committing to achieving net zero by 2050. We are actively encouraging this through our Social Value pledge to ‘Encourage everybody across our Community to make positive changes to protect the environment’, and through our commitment to integrating climate change considerations in our business processes as outlined in our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
